Princeville continues to be in the news, with the announcement that the Princeville Hotel will undergo a $60-million renovation starting this spring. Once completed, the property will be re-branded as Hawaii's first and only St. Regis hotel. The upgrade will add a spa and possibly a celebrity chef restaurant as part of its transformation into a five-star property. Princeville's Makai Golf Course and its clubhouse, which has been closed for nearly 15 years, will also undergo a $10 million renovation and be renamed the Princeville Golf & Sports Club.

In other news, Montage Hotels & Resorts recently purchased 122 acres of land adjacent to Hanalei Bay and the Princeville Hotel. Montage eventually plans to build another luxury resort at Hanalei; although, no timetable for development has been released.

Opportunities to purchase new homes in this world-class resort are becoming more and more difficult, and to purchase them for under $1 million nearly impossible, except when it comes to Nihilani. Just a few homes remain, starting from the $700,000s. Ask about our move-in incentives.
